There's a bar and restaurant all very modern, white-wash walls, modern cube furniture. 24 Hour room service which is good for those that fly in early morning and are very hungry! XO restaurant offers an international 'carte' and is open at night for snacks. There's also a small fitness centre to work off the snacks.
Rooms: Warm, neutral and earthy tones, all with satellite TV, hairdryer, modem for internet. Wooden furniture in rooms, small but simple bathrooms benefit from the 'newness'.
Area: A quiet and calm part of Central London. Landscaped streets surround this residential area of Queen's Garden. Walking distance to Hyde Park and all the major shopping districts. Closest Metro is Paddington

Jurys Kensington Hotel
— This is a rather large chain of hotels, reasonably priced, this one is well located in Earls Court and minutes from high street shopping, Harrods and other big brands. There's a restaurant, high speed internet access and various travel options.
Currently closed but will open in Jan/Feb 2009 as a luxury hotel with all the high speed internet facilities. So book now for a good rate next year

Slightly indulgent at the Colonnade
— This is a great find for London, a small townhouse that was once a Victorian Banking Hall built in 1856
Rooms: Elegant rooms, lots of red and velvet curtains and cushions against crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and lovely duck feather down doonas; good value at around £120 a night standard room.
Furnishings are also rich, lot of dark wooden furniture, many rooms have four poster beds and some a private terrace. Part of the Eton Collection, there is a 'private' residence feel, many with four-poster beds, all with modern cons, hairdryer, bathrobes, private bar and Molton Brown toiletries. Area: Situated in Little Venice, a scenic area of London near Regent's Canal. Its a little bohemian, take a boat trip down the canal, floating art gallery plus lots of pubs and cafes. Good access for Wembley.

— Open now at Gatwick and Heathrow, well what can we say, you just want to sleep right? Maybe just for a couple of hours? The minimum is four hours. From £25 depending on how long you want to stay. Looks comfy enough.

— Hotel: A new concept, designed with a Casino and facilities convenient for the business travellers and tourist who need a quick 'sortie' to Heathrow. Early reports - friendly, attentive staff. No restaurant other than breakfast.
Rooms: Very 'high tech' aluminium wall coverings, hard wood maple effect for flooring, its a step away from conventional degisn but lots of modern cons, modem port, 240vac power, reading lights comfy duvent/quilt in rich colours. Central heating and double glazing windows.
Area: Two minutes from Paddington station where you can access rail link to Heathrow and other major lines. Close by to Hyde Park and shopping on Oxford street. Short tube to Piccadilly Circus, Soho and all that you can handle!!

Just the basics!
— Easy Hotel is a chain of very cheap and basic rooms, don't expect room service, their aim is about providing the basics with quality and it seems to work, booked out months in advance. While some say as little as £40, expect upwards.
