Refined & Elegant
The Ivy
— This is a bit of a British institution but I"m not sure it attracts the same crowd of celebrities and writers as days gone by. There are mixed reviews about this restaurants but it does offer a truly British meal, start with a Lobster Tart or their trademark oysters, followed by a veal T-Bone or a hamburger.

J Sheekey
— A very traditional London restaurant with that 'gentlemens' club' atmosphere. But very popular and not as busy as its sister restaurant, The Ivy.

Club Gascon
— In search of authentic French cuisine, Club Gascon is synonymous with cooking from the south-west France which fully embraces the use duck fat and foie gras in many of the dishes, but that why they taste so good. However the bistro 'Comptoir Gascon' is also authentic and reasonably priced.

The Wolseley
— The grand dining room was a former car showroom and is certainly a refined space for dining. The food is elegant but not over pretentious. There’s also a casual cafe for morning or afternoon tea.
